Biography:

Masaaki Yokoyama received a B.Sci. in 1966, a M.Sci. in 1968 and a Ph. D. in 1971 from Osaka University in polymer science. Since 1971 he has worked in the Faculty of Engineering, Osaka University, and in 1987 became professor. His major research field is concerned with the basic problems of photo-electrical properties of organic materials and their application to electrophotographic photoreceptors as well as new optoelectronic devices.

He received jounal awards from SEPJ (The Society of Electrophotography Japan) in 1987 and from IS&T (The Society of Imaging Science and Technology) in 1993. In 1994, he recieved the IS&T Fellowship Award.
